Organisational Strategy
Our Challenge
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) needed to develop its next long-term strategy.
Following the Victorian Government’s decision to extend the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne to 2035, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) needed to develop its next long-term strategy. This was with the intention to capitalise on the unprecedented period of global engagement in Formula 1 and set the organisation up for long-term success.
Our Solution
Providing comprehensive insights on the macro landscape, including; trends and challenges, opportunities and essential priorities to shape AGPC’s future direction.
Gemba was engaged to support the development of AGPC’s new strategic plan by providing comprehensive insights on the macro landscape, including; trends and challenges, opportunities and essential priorities to shape AGPC’s future direction.
Through extensive engagement with key stakeholders across AGPC, Gemba developed a strategy that outlined the key strategic focus areas, initiatives and KPIs to develop a clear roadmap for AGPC’s future success. The strategic plan was built on four fundamental pillars: Sustainable Future, Brilliant Experiences, Operational Excellence and Optimal Infrastructure. Of the 30+ key activities recommended by Gemba for the implementation over the next three years, 12 have been identified as ‘game changers’ pivotal to AGPC.
