About Me

Sport has always been my passion, fuelling both playing and spectating. From playing rugby and cricket at weekends to celebrating Brighton's rise to the Europa League, I live and breathe it.

My natural curiosity led me to research, starting with my teenage years in Qatar and Adelaide, culminating in a Politics, History & IR degree at Loughborough University. Post-graduation, I developed my research skills in the FMCG industry, involved in projects for clients such as Coca-Cola, Mondelez, and Pernod Ricard through an array of focus groups, online and in-person studies.

When not diving into data, you'll find me on the rugby pitch with Battersea Ironsides or exploring London's hidden gems on foot!

I bring a blend of sports passion, research expertise, and global experience to Gemba, with an enthusiasm to contribute to its growth in the UK and Europe.

Day in the Life

7:00am- Alarm goes off. Jump out of bed. Shower. Grab a bite to eat (and check the latest sport headlines). Out the door. Time to conquer the day ahead.

8:00am- Ride the Northern Line in all of its glory to Tottenham Court Road listening to a podcast whilst being extremely grateful I'm able to grab a seat on the tube most mornings.

8:25am- Brisk walk through to the office via the historic Drury Lane.

8:35am- Arrive at the office, check emails and begin to plan out the day ahead whilst attempting to create (and often failing) a barista-style coffee in the kitchen.

9:00am- Check in to see how our latest piece of research has progressed overnight in fieldwork.

10:00am- Team stand up time to update the rest of the wider Gemba EU team on the status of ongoing projects.

10:30am- Data time. Whether it be a sponsorship effectiveness piece for Fulham FC or helping the ICC understand who the American cricket fan is, diving into Q to pick out insights for reports is always a fascinating time of the day.

12:30pm- Lunch. We're spoiled for choice around Holborn so the majority of this time is spent wondering around trying to pick something to eat! Paninis, Vietnamese, Lebanese, Sushi, the list goes on...also the chance to catch up with some of the Turnstile crew!

1:30pm- Back to the desk. Feeling refreshed from lunch (before the afternoon slump hits) I jump back into the report I'm working on.

3:00pm- Update clients on fieldwork progression and emerging key topline insights

4:00pm- Touch bases with Linford and Hollie on the latest questionnaires we've been writing.

5:30pm- Start to wrap up for the day, making a mental list of tasks to focus on tomorrow.

5:45pm- Before leaving the office, a quick session of office cricket is a must- managed to survive a whole over from Darren on this occassion !

6:00pm- If not heading to a pub on a Thursday, I head home, ready to chill for the evening to attempt a new recipe for dinner and flick through Netflix for the next series on offer (unless its a Tuesday and I head straight to rugby training!)
